Flat White

What do you think of this place? Love it or not?
Borderline-hip Soho spot for exemplary coffee
Named after a method of coffee preparation popular down under, quietly trendy, laidback and friendly Flat White serves serious coffee drinkers — including New Zealand and Australian expats — looking for a place to relax with a proper cup of coffee. This haven for a cup of joe opened in 2005 — years before a flat white became the de rigeur beverage it is today. The shop originally used beans from the Monmouth Coffee Co. [see entry] but in 2018 uses Dark Arts Coffee. Flat White's cosy sibling outlet Milkbar (opened 2008) can be found three minutes away at 3 Bateman St.
