Hyatt Regency London Blackfriar Formerly: Crowne Plaza London – The City

A 204-room hotel in the rarely disappointing Hyatt domain, and one of two in London (along with the Churchill in Marylebone). Serious renovations in 2022, with reopening due in December. The location, while east of the bustling West End, hardly qualifies as inconvienient, and will suit not only the business traveller but also pleasure seekers, with landmarks such as St Paul's and, across the river, Tate Modern within easy reach. The glories of the afore-mentioned West End are within walking distance. Tube stations: Blackfriars and, slightly further afield, St Paul's.
