Noodle & Snack 面道坊

A best-kept non-secret tucked away in a quietish street in Fitzrovia (a ten-minute walk north of Soho), Snack & Noodle is an 18-seat, authentically Chinese restauarant with a basement kitchen that churns out gorgeous noodles (either of the belt- wide biangbiang variety or ramen size). Dishes tend to be delicious, including the signature biangbiang noodle option (vegetarian or with tender beef), braised beef noodles, dumplings (pork, chicken or veggie), Chongqing street noodles (in an oily broth) and sweet and sour ribs. Opened in 2001 by a Guilian-born man who has sent much of his life in Britain. Recommended. Located just west of quintessentially Georgian, fairytale-like Fitzroy Square, which features in films such as PHANTOM THREAD and EMMA. (2009). A five-minute walk from Warren Street Tube station.
