A reassuringly old-fashioned Lebanese hotspot opened in 1998 in increasingly modish Marylebone, Fairuz offers unusually tasty and fresh Middle Eastern specialties. It's easy to over-order here, and the set menu for two could easily stretch to feed a third or fourth person. Named after ultra-famous Lebanon-born singer Nouhad Wadi Haddad (aka Fairuz). Local landmarks include the Wallace Collection [see entry] and shops in and around Marylebone High St. Tube stations: Bond Street (also Elizabeth line) and Marylebone.
