Originally the vision of designer/restaurateur Terence Conran and restaurateur Peter Prescott, this is a welcoming, airy and buzzy food establishment on the ground floor of a reinvented Victorian warehouse in now-trendy/arty Shoreditch in east London. The food/hotel complex also features a basement space previously used for French fine dining (still dormant in 2022, awaiting reinvention) and something a bit more casual on the roof (Boundary Rooftop Bar & Grill), while the less straightforward ground floor combines the Broundary brasserie, bakery and shop, with emphasis on British comfort food, including cakes and breakfast. Seats 60, plus outdoor seating, weather permitting. Opened on New Year's Eve 2008.
