Crowne Plaza London Docklands

Contemporary accommodation in east London's Docklands area

The City of London (London's Wall St, with centuries more history added) has been expanding east for decades. Docklands features Canary Wharf, the ExCel Exhibition Centre, the concert/entertainment venue the 02 Arena and this hotel, which overlooks Royal Victoria Dock and has some splendid views. The area is quiet at night and sits kinda in the middle of nowhere, but the Docklands Light Railway is nearby (station: Royal Victoria), as is the impressive, architecturally inclined Thames Barrier Park [see Arts entry].
