Located in the historic City of London (as opposed to the West End — central London's main culture/entertainment/shopping/food area). Within easy reach of Soho via buses and tube, the hotel is nevertheless steps away from great architecture including Christopher Wren's St Stephen's Wallbrook (considered his masterwork) and his signature St Paul's Cathedral, plus Nicholas Hawksmoor's St Mary Woolnoth, Richard Rogers's rather fun Lloyd's (1986), Norman Foster's now-iconic 30 St Mary Axe (aka the Gherkin) and neighbouring Victorian Leadenhall Market.
