Seminar - Learning Disability and LGBT+ Communities

This 1st Seminar in our 2016-17 Series, is being held to help mark the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December). The seminar will explore the interfaces and differences between learning disability, disability, learning difficulty or specific learning difference. We will also consider the particular experiences of LGBT+ people within these areas. #UoGLGBTSeminar The seminar and discussion will be led by Andrew Waite, Chief Executive for Greenwich Mencap, an organisation which runs support services for adults and children with learning difficulties and their families in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
