FEATURED PERFORMERS:
Mister Meredith (9.20-9.50pm)
http://mistermeredith.co.uk/
“An old school smoothy [sic] with dry, observational comedy“
The Herald
“wrings bouts of laughter from unsuspecting audiences, coating everything from X-Factor gossip to Royal indiscretions with an irresistible, taboo-busting veneer of camp salaciousness.“
Erotic Review
Back by Steven's demand... Mister Meredith will likely charm your socks and other garments off. If variety is the end of the pier, Mister Meredith went and jumped off the end. “Camp”, “glitzy”, “dandy”, “charmer”…all frequently used words in the press that describe this musical comedian with a penchant for lewd songs and loose clothing; qualities that helped him into the finals of Hackney Empire New Act of The Year 2012 and three successful solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
One of the resident comperes at Proud Cabaret, he is also one of the best singalong pianists in the business, belting out old favourites all over London and the UK, and most regularly at his East End knees-up Variety Bunker.

Your open mic host and curator takes to the stage! Showcasing new songs and inviting you in.
Steven’s songwriting has garnered attention from Tom Robinson who played ‘We Built A Ship’ on his BBC Radio 6 Music Introducing Mixtape show and the talent-nurturing Freshnet music blog. This track was also picked by label The Laboratory Project for inclusion on their 2012 compilation of unsigned artists, ‘Resonance’. Another of Steven’s songs, ‘Lost Somehow’ was chosen by folk band Lau to make the top five folk songs in a competition held by Red Dog Music in early 2013.
Steven has performed with many different musicians over the years, learning and growing from the experiences of collaborating and playing live with others. He has become a captivating and confident front man; comfortably filling the stage alone as much as working with others to take his songs in new directions.
Growing up in rural Scotland, Steven began performing in Glasgow and then Edinburgh where he studied saxophone and composition at university. Currently living and loving in London, working on new material and sharing his music wherever he can.

Where does that entry fee go? It gets split between hosting team and the featured performers. I hope you agree it is a small price for entertainment and supporting queer venues. And hard-working musicians really appreciate the support - thank you :)
