What is the Parade?
The Parade is a procession of walking groups and floats which together march through streets in the heart of London to celebrate the LGBT+ community. It is one of the largest LGBT+ Parades in the UK and your chance to show lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from all over the UK, Europe and further afield the very best that London has to offer. The aim of the Parade is to have fun, campaign and ultimately showcase the LGBT+ community in London, the UK and overseas.
When is the Parade and what time does it start?

The route is approximately just over two miles long. The route does not follow the normal traffic layout as the streets have been closed for Pride in London.

What is the theme for the Parade?
The theme for this year’s Parade is ’Freedom to…’. This can interpreted in any form that you like but we encourage you to to dress and decorate your float appropriately to represent your chosen subject.
Examples are ‘Freedom to marry’ or ‘Freedom to holiday’, there are countless options open to you and is the ideal opportunity to demonstrate how far we have travelled, the goals left to achieve and to celebrate the invaluable contribution that the LGBT+ community makes to London today.
