Local-feeling 19th-century south London pub with a mostly gay male clientele, featuring DJs at the weekend and, most crucially, evening cabaret drag acts from Friday to Sunday. Dance floor too. Opened 1998. Relaunched itself in September 2017. C|osed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A five-minute walk from the area's other gay pub, The Prince of Greenwich [see entry]. DLR station: Deptford Bridge.

if you like cabaret
It starts late, around 12. I arrived with some friends around 11pm on a saturday... it was pretty empty when I arrived. It's an ugly pub that happens to be gay. Not sure if it's worthwhile visiting.
