What a drag south London can be
Local-feeling 19th-century south London pub with a mostly gay male clientele, featuring DJs at the weekend and, most crucially, evening cabaret drag acts from Friday to Sunday. Dance floor too. Opened 1998. Relaunced itself in September 2017. Daily 4pm–8pm Happy Hour. A five-minute walk from the area's other gay pub, The Prince of Greenwich [see entry]. DLR station: Deptford Bridge.

      if you like cabaret
It starts late, around 12. I arrived with some friends around 11pm on a saturday... it was pretty empty when I arrived. It's an ugly pub that happens to be gay. Not sure if it's worthwhile visiting.
