The Two Brewers

(50 Ratings)
South London den of drag that packs them in

Hugely popular and lively gay institution established in 1981 and still worth crossing the river for. The front bar stages daily cabaret, drag, karaoke and comedy, and the playlist features familiar chart hits and pop. At the back is a club zone that fits 300, open on Friday and Saturday nights, with DJs at the decks spinning handbag and house. Refurbished October 2018.

THE bar in South London

Best bar in south london area. Super packed on week ends, friendly crowds, pub vibe at the front with loud pop music and dance floor at the back with more electro djs. A fun night garanty!

Goodnatured fun if you're south of the river

Yes, VoHo is the new scene, but the Two Brewers is a solid, friendly, fun night out and has been around like, for ever. For those like me (ahem) who remember it when it was a dubious local dive (though still fun, even then..) with blacked-out windows and a sidestreet entrance, the place now is a sight to behold. Nice crowd, good (mix of) music, and without the hassle of the centre - recommended.

Good neighbourhood bar and club

This place gets busy late. There is a cabaret bar (usually with drag performances) and a disco in the next room. Can get very packed at weekends. Attracts an up for it crowd of mixed ages and backgrounds.
