Triangle LGBTQ+ Cultural Centre

A centre embracing and celebrating the full spectrum of queer culture whose name recalls the pink triangle — the icon/logo (worn by gay men in Nazi concentration camps) which, prior to the co-opting of the rainbow, served as the world's most recognised gay/lesbian signifier. The centre, located in a lovely old brick building equidistant from Deptford and New Cross Overground stations, includes a parlour gallery, cinema and studios and stages art, craft & LGBTQ+ history workshops. Previous event topics and happenings include Jean Genet, 70s/80s gay bars,1920s makeup workshop, a David Bowie night, a games night, a shark-themed night, a trans/nonbinary hairdressers event and a queer history quiz, plus much more.
