The Print Room/The Coronet Theatre

A flexible studio space with a rotating schedule of live theatre, concert and contemporary dance, The Print Room was conceived in 2008 by Zagreb-born producer and designer Anda Winters and English stage director Lucy Bailey, who in September 2010 opened a converted intimate 1950s warehouse in Notting Hill. Music veers towards the classical, while theatre ranges from revivals of 19th- and 20th-century classics to contemporary drama. Works by Pasolini, Ayckbourn, Tennessee Williams, Pinter and Ibsen all figured in the venue's first year and a half. A separate space stages occasional art exhibitions. In the autumn of 2014 the Print Room relocated nearby to the two-screen Coronet cinema – an 1898 Victorian theatre which has now received a major makeover in its own right, rechristened The Coronet Theatre.
