Police in Lambeth, together with a number of partners, will take part in an LGBT Community event on Saturday 13 June.
Officers will join Lambeth Council, the anti-violence & abuse charity Galop, representatives from the Gaia Centre in Lambeth, the charity SH:24 and the Terrence Higgins Trust amongst others.

Police in Lambeth, together with a number of partners, will take part in an LGBT Community event on Saturday 13 June.

The event will take place at The Eagle London, Kennington Lane, SE11 from 14:00 to 18:00 where there will be a free BBQ and entertainment.
Specialist Met officers including a crime prevention officer and dedicated LGBT officers will be present at the venue to talk to those who attend and provide advice about LGBT matters.
PC Mike Constable, Licensing officer for police in Lambeth, said: “This is an LGBT event with lots of speakers where we are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible. We plan to organise similar events in the future, across the borough."
