London institution for drinking and cabaret
Long-established, lively and friendly two-floor establishment in north-central London's Camden Town, with upstairs pub and garden. Ground-floor cabaret bar ranks as one of the city's major venues for drag. In September 2012 the Black Cap staged a two-day drag marathon to celebrate its 50th birthday. Upstairs pub open from noon daily. Downstairs cabaret space open Tue to Sat from 10pm, Sun from 9pm. 30 seconds' walk from Camden Town tube station, four minutes from Camden Road Overground.

Cabaret and barThis place is a bit out of town, but very close to Camden Town tube. It has a nice enough bar upstairs plus a roof terrace outside. Downstairs is a well known club/cabaret bar that gets busy at weekends.
