Boxpark Shoreditch

(9 Ratings)
Pop-up designer world

The "world's first pop-up departement store", opened on 3 December 2011 in east London's trendy Shoreditch, ever so near Brick Lane. Mainstream and obscure clothing outlets have set up shop in converted shipping containers lined up on two floors, with international food also available. The tagline promises "street food, drinks and entertainment". This is possibly not worth going out of one's way for, so it's lucky that it's located within close proximity to much that is interesting. Boxparks in Wembley and Croydon followed. Overground station: Shoreditch High Street.
