Abercrombie & Fitch (Closed Permanently)

(34 Ratings)
Flagship outlet for imported Americana
An entertainingly ridiculous club-style atmosphere defines this thriving consumer outlet that ranks high among London's buzziest clothing desinations. Features include roving male models to handle customer queries, over-the-top male-specific murals and sculptures, and a seemingly never-ending series of similar-looking rooms in a rather nice building in the corner of posh Mayfair that is closest to Soho. Plus smooth-as-silk shirtless meet-and-great males at the front door, though they are possibly a thing of the past. It's so dark and humping with music that your first instinct, in true Patsy Stone mode, will be to ask where the bar is. The clothing is not necessarily the main reason for visiting this establishment.

A club or clothes shop?

Novelty wearing off! Was fun to go there when it first opened. Loud music, dark environment and shop assistant that stands around and look pretty. A lot of money for some upmarket American Gap stuff.
