Exemplary restaurant for fresh and home-made Lebanese specialties, many of which are either charcoal-grilled, sautéd, deep-fried or pastry-based and which the owner say come "straight from the heart of our grandmothers" (co-owner Tony Kitous writes of his Algerian grandmother's cooking). 'Yalla yalla' means 'hurry up' when in downtown Beirut. Sadly the original Soho location (1 Green's Court) closed in early 2024, but just a few minutes from Soho (north of Oxford St, east of Oxford Circus) is this second (and much bigger and splashier) branch which opened in December 2010.
