Hard Rock Cafe London

(5 Ratings)
It started here first

Though not necessarily known for their gay appeal, the Hard Rock Cafe restaurants scattered around the globe nevertheless provide a familiar, welcoming and lively atmosphere in which to chat and drink the evening away over a plate of American food. And this London outlet is where the enterprise began, back in the summer of '71. This entry was generated by a GayCities website user.

The First Hard Rock Cafe

OK, the food isn't extraordinary. It's burgers, steak, chicken, salads, mac & cheese--all the usual stuff that you find at a Hard Rock Cafe. But THIS Hard Rock Cafe was the first one! There's lots of memorabilia all over the walls, and there's an adjacent Rock Shop to buy souvenirs. The decor is London pub and this place has atmosphere plus!
