Excellente Italian ice cream in Soho
Quite simply one of London's top outlets for gelato, made using Italian methods and high-quality sourced milk, cream, eggs, fruit and coffee. Plus very good sorbets. This first branch opened in 2007, followed in May 2010 by a Soho outlet, which closed in 2016. A second shop exists in South Kensington (16 Old Brompton Rd SW7) .The gay-owned and less traditional but very fine gelateria Gelupo [see entry] is located in Soho, one minute west of Wardour St. Sadly Scoop melted in oblivion in February 2019.
