Cheap and delicious Vietnamese food
Basic decor can accompany tasty and fresh food, and Pho is a great example of this, though in 2012 the decor got an upgrade care of Mrs Anh Le, who took over the operation in 2007. Just off Soho's Old Compton St, this pokey gem offers generous portions, quick service and a sizeable and varied menu, including the popular and hearty Vietnamese noodle soup pho (pronounced 'fuh'). Booze is not available but can be brought in. Sometimes calls itself 'Viet Pho', but the proper name is simply 'Viet'.
