Maoz Falafel

No ratings yet
Fine fast food falafel

Dutch-Israeli-owned vegetarian- and vegan-friendly falafel specialists combining very decent quality savoury items with a fast-food experience — super-suitable as a chaser to one or several late-night Soho pints. There's a hummus bar, plus lamb and chicken dishes, a pick of tacos and much more. Maoz, which means 'light' in Hebrew, started in 1991 in Amsterdam. This London branch, the first outside of Holland, arrived in 1998, then closed in 2016, reopening (with upgraded offerings and a radical and successful decor makeover) in March 2018. Other Maoz cities include Paris, Barcelona, New York and Perth. Located a few doors from Comptons, and just opposite the Admiral Duncan.
