Four Seasons

But especially the roast duck

Hugely popular Chinese hot spot bang in the middle of Chinatown's Gerrard St, with an extensive menu that remains most famous for its roast duck, which is fired "in a specially built roasting furnace". There's definitely a certain authenticity here, and locals appear to like it. This 21st-century branch followed the original, which opened in 1990 in 84 Queensway in Bayswater. Other brances include Soho (23 Wardour St). Best to avoid popular times as queues are among the longest in Gerrard St. A more democratic and spicier menu can be found next door at Little Four Seasons.
