The King of Falafel

No ratings yet
Lebanese/Moroccan food specialists

Very good central London falafel, started in the early 1990s in Leather Lane, with this second branch in the heart of Bloomsbury opening in 2010, on the corner of Tavistock Place and Hunter St, seconds from New Bloomsbury Set [see entry]. Falafel is the thing here, but the menu also includes chicken and lamb kebabs, lamb kofta, halloumi, hummous, tabouleh, salads and fresh juices. Mostly a takeaway, the King does offer a few places in which to sit, both in and out. Lovely St George's Gardens is just round the corner via Handel St. Tube station: Russell Square.
