Chang's Noodle (Lao Chang)

No ratings yet
Very good and authentic Chinese noodles

Located eight minutes from Soho in a rather trafficky short stretch of road between Oxford Street and Holborn is this zero-decor Chinese restaurant specialising in excellently thick and floppy hand-pulled home-made noodles. Flavours and recipes owe something to Henan, China, original home of the owner, who in 2013 moved to this location following a three-year start just around the corner. in Coptic St. Recommended dishes include Shan Xi Yo Po, lamb noodle soup and stir-fried chicken (Xinjiang style). Cash only, though there's a cash point/ATM just outside. Tube stations: Tottenham Court Rd, Holborn.
