Honey & Co

100% love it
Foodie food in Fitzrovia
Small Israeli-run eatery by husband-and-wife team Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer, both with major experience working alongside London's can-do-no-wrong food entrepeneur/chef/writer Yotam Ottolenghi. Located just a minute from Warren St tube station and about a ten-minute walk north of Soho, Honey & Co serves Middle Eastern food that's about as modern and yummy as it gets. Savouries are busy with lovely flavour combinations while Packer's formidable pastry background rounds out the foodie experience (some of London's finest desserts full stop), whether at lunch, dinner or breakfast. Hugely recommended. Takeaway available (acclaimed falafal, desserts etc), with benches in Fitzroy Square just around the corner. Opened 2012. A second and much bigger (and noisier) branch named Honey & Smoke (216 Great Portland St) opened in October 2016, with just as piquant results. The inspired desserts for both outlets are produced at Honey & Smoke.

A bit of a squeeze, but well worth it. Great attention to flavour and detail.

Definitely worth the nine-minute walk north of Soho for. Book advance. If you're out of luck consider takeaway, including the great desserts.
