Mr Kong (Closed Permanently) Formerly: New Diamond

(1 Rating)
Good quality Chinese food
Located in Chinatown's second and quieter main drag, Lisle St, this friendly and nearly intimate spot boasts a vast menu of relatively affordable Cantonese staples and specials, most of them executed to a better than decent standard — somewhat of a novelty in a town that doesn't offer a surplus of cheap and excellent Chinese restaurants. Same owners as previous incarnation New Diamond. Open late 1980s. Close 2016.
