The Hoxton, Shoreditch Formerly: The Hoxton Hotel

A 209-room hotel marked by fireplaces, polished concrete floors, exposed brick and leather sofas, located very close to hip and arty Shoreditch in east London. Hotel prices are all over the place, subject to timing, availability etc. For food, there's the Chicago-style Hoxton Grill (from 7am until late) on the ground floor, and up on the roof the trendy, media-savvy Soho House group runs Maya – the Mexican-inspired bar/restaurant. Opened 2006. A second Hoxton Hotel opened in more conveniently central Holborn in September 2014, then Amsterdam in 2015, then Paris, Williamsburg (Brooklyn), Chicago, L.A. etc.
