The hotel openend in 1997, and houses 144 rooms and suites, with apartments in nearby Hertford Street and Brick Street. Dining options include celebrated Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nobu [see entry], which opened on the first floor to mixed reviews. The hotel's London sibling is COMO The Halkin [see entry].

Cool and stylish
We stayed at the Metropolitan over a weekend and had a really great time! The rooms are spacious and clutter free with brand new bathrooms. We loved the COMO Shambhala bathroom amenities and the urban escape. If you like cocktails, the Met Bar at the hotel is the right place to go...SoHo with its gay bars are just two tube stops away.
