The Grand at Trafalgar Square (Club Quarters)
This restored Victorian landmark (Northumberland House) doubles as both The Grand (63 rooms) and Club Quarters (225 rooms, same style as The Grand), the latter side of the building available at a discounted rate to Club Quarters members (subject to availability). Located immediatly off seriously central Trafalgar Square, with easy access to just about everything, including the National Gallery of Art [see entry], St James's Park, the over-the-river South Bank arts complex [see entries], West End theatres and cinemas, myriad food options and pretty anything else that defines London. Soho is just an eight-minute walk to the north. Opened 1993.
