JW Marriott Grosvenor House London Formerly: Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel

(3 Ratings)
Historic Park Lane luxury

The marble-floored foyer sets the stage for one of London's more swish and multi-talented traditional hotels, which opened in 1929 and expanded heavily in 1957, with the Marriott investing fours years of pricey renovation culiminating in a 2008 grand re-opening. In short, this establishment is a very big deal. Overlooks Hyde park and backs on to Mayfair, with Soho about a 20-minute walk away. The hotel's food outlets include a JW Steakhouse, while Richard Corrigan's celebrated restaurant Corrigan's Mayfair — specialising in game, wild fish and seafood — rubs up against the hotel's main entrance.
