GRAHAM J AND THE CABARET NOIR
Live at the RVT
The RVT is proud to host Graham J, a unique and talented singer who will be launching his new single on the night titled âDeja Vuâ and will be a London debut.
In a previous life Graham worked extensively as classical singer. His rarely found tenore contraltino has enabled him to transition successfully into a more mainstream repertoire. Allowing him to explore his love of a broader breadth of influences including Nina Simone, Shirley Bassey and Karen Carpenter. A sense of mourning, loss and ultimately resolution permeate Grahamâs choice of repertoire echoing the work of truly indefinable characters like Rufus Wainright, Antony and the Johnsons and Bjork.
Graham has recently released a new album âLove Lies Bleeding at my Feetâ and will be presenting songs from this titled album as well as interpretations of song book favourites.
Graham is a native of Dublin, Ireland.
