Return of the 1990s club classic

Twenty years after its disappearance from the London landscape, Love Muscle — launched in 1992 by Andrew Czezowski  and Susan Carrington at The Fridge in Brixton — returned on 29 March 2024 (Good Friday) for an event at Lafayette, a state-of-the-art, 600-capacity Kings Cross club. Czezowski once again presented, with the iconic Yvette (the drag persona of Ian Hunter-Meek) returning as hostess. The party featured house gems, dancing boys and testoserone recalling the club's 1992–98 heyday. In September 2024 Czezowski staged a follow-up event at the Electric Brixton (Town Hall Parade, Brixton Hill SW2 1RJ), not far from the club's original venue. Next Big Thing: Easter 2025.
