Drag yourself to Wimbledon for gay cocktails

Fanfare surrounded the opening in March 2019 of CMYK – Wimbledon's first ever gay ( LGBTQIA+) bar. Previously this huge stretch of southwest London was something of a gay desert. What the label says: "signature cocktails, stylish interior and fabulous live DJs and entertainment". Featuring comedy every Tuesday, karaoke every Wednesday and, on the last Sunday of the month, drag shows. Basement space open Friday and Saturday, with DJ-led playlists of house, pop, neo-R&B, dance and beyond. So if you're in the neighbourhood... Tube station: South Wimbledon. Overground: Wimbledon. Sadly the bar closed September 2023, converted into a dental surgery.
