Halfway II Heaven

(26 Ratings)
Gay boozer situated en route to Heaven

An ever so central traditional gay bar — located between Charing Cross Tube/railway station and Trafalgar Square, in a tourist-heavy area where you wouldn't expect such a place — marked by a friendly and sometimes boisterous atmosphere, catering to the 9 to 5 male worker and beyond. Ground floor has the feel of a local bar, with basement serving as a "magical cabaret venue" with karaoke nights, quizzes and nightly cabaret and drag. Opened 1991. AKA Halfway to Heaven.
