Specialists in mostly lighter fare such as comedies, musicals and panto, with an empahsis on the funny, erotic, camp, cheeky and subversive, punctuated by the occasional psychodrama or gay-appeal straightforward play. Opened in Victoria in 2008, closed in 2012 to make way for the redevelopment of Victoria station, then reopened November 2013 in a reinvented railway arch in near-gay-specific Vauxhall. On 1 June 2018 the theatre moved to a new and larger premises, also in Vauxhall, with a 25th-anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey's BEAUTIFUL THING as the new space's inaugural production. An in-house cabaret lounge opened in 2021 [see entry]. Sadly, on 8 August 2022, the theatre announced its immediate closure.
