Union Chapel

(2 Ratings)
Victorian gothic venue for new music and ancient spirituality
In its own category, the architecturally notable Union Chapel (octagonal floor plan) triples as a working church, a homeless/crisis centre and, for the purposes of this website, an adventurous and rather hip music venue featuring eclectic concert progrmming, from classical to jazz, from Björk to the beyond. Tube station and overground: Highbury & Islington. Landmarks within easy reach: Upper St (the King's Road of northeast London, with abundant quaint shopping], including compulsory food stop Ottolenghi [see entry] and designer-wear shop Sefton [see entry].

Daylight Music

Daylight Music - brilliant eclectic gigs in an unusual venue - we took a chance and saw three amazing acts - and on a Saturday afternoon - which is such a nice time for music
