St John's Smith Square

No ratings yet
Concert hall with excellent church acoustics
Reconstructed following a Second World War hit, Thomas Archer's 1728 Baroque gem retains its place as one of London's A-list concert venues. The interior is somehwat of a letdown given the fine exterior and its lovely setting within a Westminster square, but the excellent acoustics do justice to the international orchestras, soloists and choirs choosing to perform here throughout the year.
