Opened since 1828, the zoo is home to more than 15,000 animals from more than 700 different species, from meerkats to moon jellyfish. Following years of of decline, the Zoological Society of London is redeveloping the London landmark with improved natural environments. Large zoo but needs updating.

We were excited to go to this zoo but after getting there we were disappointed that exhibits were not more friendly to the animals, seemed like an old world zoo rather than a modern one. Just expected it to be better for a world class city.
