Sadie Coles HQ

No ratings yet
Cool hot spot of contemporary art

The minimalist but generous-sized domain of English gallerist Sadie Coles, who stages exhibitions by major English and international artists, many of whom Coles championed in their younger days. Her select group of artists includes John Currin, Sarah Lucas, Hilary Lloyd, Matthew Barney, Carl Andre, Elizabeth Peyton and Sarah Lucas. It was in October 2013 that Coles opened this airy white upstairs gallery (a converted club) just near Carnaby St in the westernmost point of Soho, usurping her Mayfair outlet (closed December 2014) as the flagship space. Plus Mayfair (1 Davies St) and St James's (8 Bury St).
