Prowler Red Formerly: DV8 / Fifty & Dean
Tastefully sexy British-owned New York-style shop on the Soho catwalk, selling porn, leather, rubber, toys, accessories and greeting cards. Caters to bears, daddies, the muscle-endowed and others too. Opened early 2011 as DV8 and in early 2012 changed name to Fifty & Dean, evoking its corner address. From 2 July 2018 Fifty & Dean rebranded itself as Prowler Red, with a certain commitment to leather and other fetish wear not previously seen in Soho. Owned by erotic wholesaler ABS Holdings. and linked to the Prowler mothership shop around the corner in Brewer St [see entry], and also to Prowler stores in Hammersmith, Brighton, Bristol, Leeds and Exeter, Bournemouth and Oldham, plus Sitges in Spain.
