Pepi's (Closed Permanently)

The demimonde of hair
Inspired and innovative hair stylist Carlos Gomez arrived in London from Barcelona in 1992 and two years later opened this now-famous and niche Camden Town outlet for his colourful, category-defying experimentations. Vibrant extensioins are Gomez's signature look, but he can push even further (or rein it back). He is also credited with creating the iconic hairpiece for Cher’s look associated with her 1998/99 transatlantic comeback number one "Believe". Pepi's Tokyo opened in 1997. In February 2018, at a time of redevelopment in the area, Gomez was handed an eviction notice by the landlord but refused to leave and staged a sadly unsuccessful sit-in. Tube station: Camden Town.
