Cha Cha Moon (Closed Permanently)

(2 Ratings)
Fast, cheap and delicious Chinese noodles
Another of entrepeneur Alan Yau's welcomed food ventures, Cha Cha Moon is bascially a Chinese take on his (Japanese) Wagamama invention, with casual diners sharing long tables and eating very tasty and relatively inexpensive dishes in a packed room of pleasing decor. Menu includes crispy duck lao mian, Taiwan beef noodle soup, spring rolls, gyozas and dumplings. Queues move quickly. Second branch in Bayswater's shopping complex Whiteleys (an ex-department store). Warning: dishes are served when they are kitchen-ready, regardless of whether everyone at your table has something in front of them. And no distinction is made between starters and main dishes. Opened 2008; Yau bowed out a year later. Closed early 2017.
