What we say
Stylish and not too pricey Thai food
There's normally a queue outside this reliable and relatively inexpensive Thai spot — one of several stylish ventures started by restaurateur Alan Yau (Wagamama, Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Cha Cha Moon etc.) — and with good reason. Great-value dishes — from green chicken curry and pad Thai to fish cakes and char-grilled swordfish — are served in an unusually warm and well-designed room of large square tables shared by diners. Go late afternoon to avoid the crowds. Other branches in Store Street (off Tottenham Court Rd.) and in Bird Street (near Selfridges). Warning: dishes are served when they are kitchen-ready, regardless of whether everyone at your table has something in front of them.
