What we say
Impressive British-European dining
Sophisticated yet unpretentious, Arbutus serves mostly excellent modern European/British food in a buzzy, simple and stylish atmosphere. Dishes such as squid and mackerel burger and pig's head share the menu with roast cod, veal and lamb breast. Dinners are not ridiculously pricey, and the fixed-price lunch is a bargain for this sort of thing. A drawback: attracts men in suits. Celebrated sibling venue Wild Honey in neighbouring Mayfair (12 St George Street) has also won kudos from Michelin.
