Stylotel Formerly: Ruddimans Hotel

A privately owned one-off hotel with a Victorian exterior that belies the modern budget-designery decor hinted at in the establishment's 'funky' name. The 39 rooms have a modular feel to them, marked by an overriding blue and silver pallate, while the eight suite apartments across the road all differ from one another. Local pub the Sussex Arms is also part of the family. Prices fall somewhere between budget and standard. Stylotel opened in 2006 as a total reinvention of the owner's former Ruddimans Hotel at the same address. There's little about the Paddington area that's overtly gay-useful, but it's a central enough location to provide easy access to most of London's better offerings.
