Dean Street Townhouse

(1 Rating)
Smart comforts in an 18th-century hotel

A four-storey gorgeous-feeling Georgian townhouse on a conveniently positioned corner of Dean St in Soho, this sumptuously olde-worlde 39-room destination is the collaborative effort of Soho House mogul Nick Jones and high-octane restaurateur/mover and shaker Richard Caring (CV: Le Caprice, the Ivy, J Sheekey etc), who also started the buzzy and warm restaurant on the ground floor below [see entry]. The building was once home to the Gargoyle Club and features rooms of all sizes and prices, though on average this hotel veers between moderate and expensive, depending on when you book. A very English experience. Opened in 2010.
