Buzzing mixed gay/straight facilitiy that more than does the trick
A minute or two northeast of Soho, this immaculate, well-designed and efficiently run gym 'factory' draws a crowd of local workers and Soho boys, with an atmosphere that's more no-nonsense and subtly sexy than steamy, full-on and flashy. Its myriad facilities include an impressive 25-meter heated pool, indoor cycling, badminton courts and a huge choice of reasonbaly priced classes. Refurbished in 2009, and still in top condition as of 2011. Day passes are available. Closest tube stations: Goodge St, Holborn and Leicester Sq. (Tottenham Court Rd under re-construction)
